Missions at Grace
Grace Presbyterian Church participates in many different sorts of missions including hands-on short term endeavors as well as spiritual and financial support of missionaries, both domestic and abroad. Historically Grace has traveled to Mexico to assist with Vacation Bible School and reach the local community in several locations there. We have also participated in other short term missions trips both inside and outside the United States. Our church supports individuals in our congregation as they engage with mission activities outside of the direct organization of our church.
We also organize Backyard Bible Clubs or Vacation Bible School locally where children of different ages can come together in a comfortable, fun, safe, and engaging environment to learn more about the Bible and hear the good news of the gospel. Many members of the church open up their homes and volunteer their time to help facilitate these Backyard Bible Clubs for local kids from our community and church.
Grace seeks to provide meaningful support to few missionaries in a way where we can be actively involved in prayer and walk alongside them as they dedicate their time to furthering the Lord’s Kingdom. Currently we support 11 different missionaries located all over the world including Africa, Asia, Mexico, Virginia, and even some who plan to go to unreached tribal people groups. The goals of these missionaries differ from providing theological education, to overseeing the missions of multiple countries, to planting churches, to reaching college students in our own back yard.
