Who is Grace Presbyterian Church?
While Grace Presbyterian Church started in 2002, local families have been praying for this church for years.
Our hope is to glorify God and to serve the families of King George County, VA.
We are affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). The PCA is a denomination that is committed to Bible's reliability as the guide for what we are to believe and how we are to live.
As a result, we believe that all of us are sinners and need to turn to Christ alone who freely offers forgiveness of sins. It is by His unmerited free grace alone that we receive by faith alone Christ's gift of salvation.
Our Denomination: Government of the Church
Presbyterian churches are governed by elders.
Teaching elders are pastors, and ruling elders are ordained from the congregation. All elders are elected, and when they meet together in an official capacity, they are referred to as a "Session." The session is responsible for the direction of the church and for the spiritual life of its members.
Randy Brooks, Jonathan Franklin, and Ben Goldman have been elected by the congregation as elders for Grace Presbyterian Church.
In addition, churches elect deacons who are spiritually gifted men to help oversee matters relating material needs of the church and its members.
